In ages past, when Aisurgel still thrived with life and natural wonders, the ancestors of the penguins inhabited a floating archipelago of biomes—tropical jungles, crystal deserts, volcanic plateaus, and ancient forests. At the heart of that realm beat the Heart of Crystal, a colossal gem that balanced the energy of every ecosystem.

An ancient cataclysm shattered the gem into five fragments, scattering them across remote islands and causing harsh imbalances in climate and nature throughout the world.
