Over the centuries, diverse factions arose to claim and protect these fragments:

Paladins of Light: Guardians of the Luminous Fragment. They march under golden standards to restore hope—healing withered valleys and sealing rifts that threaten to corrupt the land.

Druids of the Grand Forest: Keepers of the Vital Fragment. They maintain living sanctuaries where flora and fauna flourish, and at times assume the forms of bears, wolves, or owls to safeguard wayfarers.

Necromancers of the Ebon Echo: Wardens of the Ancestral Fragment. Masters of soul-alchemy, they summon spirits and skeletal warriors to defend forgotten ruins, seeking to reassemble the Heart through ritual remembrance.

Trackers & Canine Companions: Armed with precise bows, they scour ruins and wilds alongside their loyal hounds under star-lit skies, unearthing hidden relics and secrets.

Corsairs of the Global Currents: Treasure-hunting pirates who traverse aerial and oceanic trade winds, exchanging crystal fragments for exotic loot and legendary maps.

Berserkers of the Scorching Plains: Nomadic warriors who channel the power of the Valor Fragment to unleash devastating fury, forging weapons from the igneous stones of ancient eruptions.

Storm Arcanists: Elemental mages wielding the Thunder Fragment. They command winds and storms—able to alter each island’s weather for protection or peril.
